Lifelong Vision Foundation

This year, and every year, our activities include:
• The funding and administration of cutting-edge research studies for vision issues such
as Age Related Macular Degeneration, Dry Eyes, Glaucoma and more. We have
successfully concluded studies in the past to advance treatments for these issues plus
cataracts, LASIK, presbyopia and more.
• Free LASIK surgery to 50 brave First Responders in the greater St. Louis area.
• Free vision exams and glasses, along with follow-up visits for three years, to College
Bound youth in St. Louis, a great charity that helps under-resourced kids prepare for
college
• Free vision exams and glasses, along with follow-up visits for three years, to kids at
Wyman Center, another great local charity that helps teens who otherwise would
have to grow up with the challenges of poor vision
• The sponsorship and administration of our annual Vision Mission to La Gonave, Haiti
where our doctors examine hundreds of needy people and distribute thousands of
pairs of glasses
