Ian's Annual Friends & Family Fundraiser
$990 Raised
Linc currently operates three affordable housing locations in Long Beach. These communities provide low-income families, transition-aged youth, and people who were formerly unhoused access to a healthy, stable place to call home as well as services and support to overcome past trauma, set goals for the future, and contribute to our Long Beach community. Linc is actively working to open five additional locations in Long Beach within the next few years.
Your donation to Linc helps to create safe, stable homes with supportive services for thousands of people in need. Like the children living at Spark at Midtown, who now not only live in housing affordable for their parents, but also have access to youth empowerment services, like after-school programs, summer camps, and special interest clubs such as discovery club and fitness club. Your donation is changing the trajectory of their lives.
"Since I moved-in here, I've been able to believe in myself more - to work on myself. And also see the good side of myself. I have all this potential. I want to inspire other people so they can do better in their lives - and to know that no matter what you do - no matter what you've been through - there's always an opportunity to start all over." - Brehima, Linc resident.
"It's a privilege to work for an organization that has created this foundation for thousands of people in California whose health, well-being, economic prospects, academic achievement, and overall quality of life would have suffered if not for the work that so many dedicated Linc staff, volunteers, and community members put in each day." - Ian Nevarez, Sr. Corporate Development Manager, Linc.
"I feel really good about my future. I have everything I need here." - Erica, Linc resident
"One of the reasons that I came to work for Linc was to master something new, but it was still a challenge for me to step outside of my comfort zone. I have a set of high schoolers at home. Working with our transition age youth population is helping me be a bit more understanding in how I deal with my children and vice versa." - Maureen Rivas, Senior ICMS Case Manager for Linc.
