Lincoln County Historical Museum

The Lincoln County Historical Museum's mission is to collect, preserve and exhibit the history of our region, while providing access to, education about, and inspiration from that history for all.

Since our founding in 1976, the museum has been dedicated to bringing the history of our area to the public. Each year we host numerous events, many of which are designed to educate and entertain. Every May the museum provides tours to nearly 1,000 school children. Among the tours is our annual 4th Grade History Days for every public school 4th grader. Additionally, the museum hosts a variety of humanities programs and exhibits each year that give area residents a chance to delve into world, national, state, and local history as a way to better connect with the past and learn from it.
