Little Essentials

Little Essentials provides urgently needed children’s supplies and life-changing education to at-risk families living in poverty.

Through a holistic approach, we not only meet immediate needs but also address the root causes of poverty through the Three E’s:

  EMPOWER the community by providing essential children’s supplies.

  EDUCATE families by providing life skills education and resources.
  


• 
  ELIMINATE poverty by employing community members as Little Essentials’ employees.
  

We work with 100 partners and have served 68,000 children, 32,000 families, and distributed 1.6 million diapers since 2011.

Thanks to Brooklyn Gives, we will reach our goal of $50,000 on Giving Tuesday- and help 10,000+ children in 2026.
