Founded in 2006 in Rappahannock County, Living Sky Foundation is committed to building a culturally diverse foundation to improve the quality of rural existence through social change and public outreach, as well as support continuous learning and youth leadership. A focus on self-expression, healing arts, mindfulness, and positive values are emphasized through creative and cultural enrichment programs available to participants regardless of age, or status levels.

Artistic Director, Cherl Crews ~ better known as Living Sky in the artist community has combined her talents by introducing inspirational lesson plans, music and art enrichment programs, and curriculum development designed to enhance the quality of life, health and well being for over two decades.

Living Sky Foundation the SPERRYVILLE ARTIST COOPERATIVE. ~The Sperryville Artist Cooperative is a music and art showcase for new, emerging, and independent talent. We assist artists, musicians, dancers, poets, actors, and craftsmen in the process of establishing their creative expression so they may freely support themselves as they boldly go in the direction of their dreams. The ARTist Cooperative is now home to a group of aspiring and brilliant artists who have found a center where they can exhibit and share their talents. We are proud to include experimental, innovative art that stretches the boundaries of what is considered traditional, judged or status quo in the "art world".
Some of our services include Artist representation, youth presentations, available studio space, community art projects, fine art, hand-crafts, and learning tools.

Earth Allegiance by Living Sky
With complete dedication, Living Sky Foundation presents the Earth Allegiance.
Earth Allegiance was created to honor Earth and all her inhabitants and to emphasize the urgent need for continued environmental and wildlife conservation for all life forms, many of which are already endangered or on the verge of extinction. It is also intended to recognize and support the many countless organizations and individuals in communities around the globe that dedicate efforts to preserving and protecting precious life ~ and strengthening youth leadership. This beautiful pledge, written by Cherl Crew is tearing down walls and expanding fence lines to include a universal village that values ALL existence, uniting people all over the planet through a common vision. This new world pledge of allegiance is being received in countries all over the world and has been translated into at least 9 different languages.
