Louie and Friends Foundation

The mission of LAFF is to keep pets with their loving families when hardship and emergencies make it impossible to provide necessary veterinary treatment. LAFF works with qualified individuals to help them care for their dogs and cats, by providing funding for the costs of pet ownership and/or vet expenses. LAFF also works with certain rescue organizations that need assistance with extraordinary vet expenses for dogs in rescue. LAFF is a 501(c)(3) charity and all donations are tax-deductible.

LAFF has been able to assist many pet owners with large veterinary expenses by focusing on one case at a time. We work with treating veterinarians to negotiate discounted and reasonable prices for the treatment required and we require the pet owners to work with our organization to assist with fundraising. We also have been able to help several families at the saddest of times, when they are losing their furry family member and cannot afford euthanasia expenses. Although we have not worked with vast numbers of families and animals, we know that we have changed the lives of those we have been able to help.
