Louisville Male Orchestra Boosters Inc

A nonprofit organization

The Louisville Male Orchestra program is a unique opportunity for high school students to foster their love of string performing through three separate orchestra:  Freshman Orchestra, Sinfonia Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra.  These orchestras are supported by a staff of professional string teachers who work with them on a weekly basis to help them gain expertise on their individual instruments as well as prepare for upcoming auditions and performances.

This year, the Louisville Male Chamber Orchestra has been invited to perform at the 2023 KMEA Professional Development Conference.  We are incredibly excited for this unique opportunity for our students and are diligently preparing for the upcoming performance.

The Male Orchestra program provides instruments, repairs, accessories, and music to all of its performers, as well as the professional string teachers through funding raised by the Louisville Male Orchestra Boosters Club.  No funding is provided by the school district, nor by the school itself.  The Boosters work diligently to raise as much money as they can to support the operating costs of the group, and in need-based situations, provide financial support for students to special events with the Orchestras.

We are proud of our students who have dedicated so much time and their individual talents to these ensembles.   We are looking to raise funds not only for this year, but to help prepare for future school years as well.

Please consider giving generously to this talented group of young musicians in our community.  Help them to continue to make great music together with funding supported by you.
