Magnolia Tree Earth Center of Bedford Stuyvesant Inc.

Magnolia Tree Earth Center of Bedford Stuyvesant Inc. is a 52 year old institution that was founded by Hattie Carthan a senior citizen who was way ahead of her time in terms of caring for the environment and being aware of the need to support green space.   We do amazing programming all throughout the year that includes community baby showers, flower shows, workforce development classes, cultural events, art exhibits and much more.  We are housed in three landmarked brownstones with a beautiful Magnolia Grandiflora tree in front of the buildings that is the only living landmark in New York state.  We need support to maintain our very old buildings so that they can last another 100 years.   Please be a part of the team that allows this institution to thrive.
