Blessings of Grace Marion County Food Pantry

The mission of Blessings of Grace Marion County Food Pantry is to provide food for distribution to poor or needy persons registered with Blessings of Grace Food Pantry and the Children's Backpack Program that reside within Marion County, Texas and the Jefferson ISD.

Over 20% of the population of Marion County's lives below the poverty level. A high level of these residents are women between the ages of 45-65. Our pantry provides a box of staple foods , frozen meats and sometimes dairy or baked goods once a month. We also offer produce on 3 weekday mornings. The Backpack program provides weekend meals to 100 school children every week that school is in session. We operate solely on donations. Typically we receive the most donations during the holidays and then struggle to keep up with expenses the rest of the year. Our pantry has improved the lives of many of our county's residents, and we welcome any and all donations.
