Marrow Mates

Most everyone in St. Louis is familiar with the Siteman Cancer Center. And for people that have been diagnosed with a blood cancer, having this world-class facility in our community is a huge advantage. Siteman's bone marrow/stem cell transplant unit provides cures to people from all over the region. Our program enlists long term survivors from these transplant procedures and utilizes them as mentors to patients who are currently undergoing the transplant process themselves. We are BMT survivors and veteran caregivers giving back to the cancer center that helped save our lives. We're giving back by paying it forward to the next patient in need!
