Mascoutah Senior Services Program

Mascoutah Senior Center has been serving our community for over 50 years. We provide "home cooked" meals Monday-Friday to adults 60 and over. We offer dine in services and Meal on Wheels for the home bound. In calendar year 2018 we served 11,400 meals in our dining room and delivered over 6,300 meals under our "Meals on Wheels" program. Many older adults do not receive proper nutrition, our meals meet the guidelines set by the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program. Delivering meals to the home bound allows us to meet nutritional needs, address social isolation and provides safety checks to those we deliver to. The individuals we deliver to say that Meals on Wheels helps them feel more secure. Along with our nutrition program we offer health and fitness programs. We offer a variety of exercise classes Monday-Thursday. Information and assistance is offered as requested. Our main goal is to provide services to seniors aged 60 and over that allow them to live independently.
