MAYA Collection is a non-profit founded in 2009 in South Louisville. Its mission is to encourage and empower refugee women and teens to utilize their God-given talents and become self-sufficient artisans.

Each artisan is individually trained and mentored so they feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. Our artisans are all unique and MAYA Collection equips them to succeed.

We currently work with approximately 40 women and teen artisans who meet at Hope Place located at 5007 Southside Drive, Louisville, KY, 40214. Volunteers work alongside our artisans to help them design products to sell at local boutiques, markets, and on our website.

Recently, we opened our own boutique, The Bloom House, where we sell unique products handmade by our artisans.

Funds raised will be used to:

  • Sponsor immigrant/refugee teen artisans to be trained in our sewing room
  • Provide training materials, tools and supplies for our refugee artisans
  • Provide funds to support the ongoing maintenance and needs of The Bloom House.

Thank you for investing your donation to change the lives of our AMAZING artisans!
