Mercy Hilltop Center is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy. Funded in large by the Area Agency on Aging, GECAC (Greater Erie Community Action Committee), the center operates as a multipurpose senior center meeting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of seniors throughout Erie County.

The general objective is to provide a multi-service center for the citizens of the Erie area where we provide innovative programing, comfortable, safe spaces for socialization, card games, physical wellness, creative pursuits, and educational programing.

Our intention is that every individual who enters the center feels welcome and comfortable to interact with staff and members, who we hope with eventually become friends.

Center Objectives:

·       To serve the Erie Community’s older population by:

o   Promoting healthy living

o   Supporting independence

o   Fostering continued learning

o   Promoting leisure time activities independently as well as in groups

o   Creating innovative and preventative new programming

o   Enhancing self-image through various activates

o   Assisting in connecting older adults with community services
