Metro Inclusive Health

Metro provides a variety of health and wellness services and programs inclusive of everyone in the Tampa Bay community. They include extensive programming for Youth, Transgender, and SAGE (older adult) populations, HIV Prevention and Community Outreach, HIV Healthcare & Education Services, and LGBTQ focused Primary Care.  Our locations include: St. Petersburg and Tampa Community Centers, LGBT Welcome Center, and Thrift Store.  Medical Services are provided in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, New Port Richey, and Tampa.

Annually we serve approximately 8,000 individuals through our medical case management, prevention, support, and education programs targeting LGBTQ+, HIV positive, and at-risk individuals. Our youth and transgender groups impact over 1,600 people yearly, with groups and events held throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Our Metro SAGE Tampa Bay programs, for LGBT older adults, offers support groups, social outings, dinners, and more, with more than 1,500 people involved annually.

Metro also offers free testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, providing over 7,000 tests annually.  With HIV cases on the rise in the state of Florida, our prevention teams provide critical outreach and education to the underserved community populations.

Our medical services and clinics serve over 12,000 patients annually for Primary and HIV care, as well as Behavioral Therapy, and Trans Healthcare.  Metro’s trained clinicians work with patients for all their healthcare needs and concerns, and we offer an on-site lab and pharmacy. Construction is underway on our building renovation which is doubling our clinic and treatment room space and dramatically increasing our community center space.
