Mission 911

Mission 911 exists to care for individuals living in poverty in our community by connecting them with key resources to facilitate their journey toward a life of stability. Our Vision is to build connections, break the cycle of poverty, and empower and create a sustainable community.

Founded in 2000, Mission 911 began as a safe and faith-based shelter where individuals experiencing homelessness could find rest, meals, and compassionate support. Over time, Mission 911 expanded its services after recognizing that many individuals and families needed long-term guidance to overcome the challenges that lead to housing instability. Today, Mission 911 provides a full spectrum of care-including rental and utility assistance, food and clothing resources, transportation support, and comprehensive case management-to empower households to achieve stability and prevent homelessness before it occurs. In just the last eight years, Mission 911 has provided over $1.6 million in direct financial aid to families in crisis. Through partnerships, community support, and a deep belief in the worth of every person, Mission 911 walks alongside individuals with dignity and hope, helping them regain stability, find purpose, and build a secure future.
