Our Story

In 1998, a small group of faithful Christians in Moore County answered God’s call to create a safe place for women and families facing unexpected pregnancies. What began as the Dumas Area Crisis Pregnancy Center, later known as CareNet, has grown into a life-affirming ministry that has served our community for over 27 years.

Back then, many believed abortion was the only option for those facing crisis pregnancies. But God had a different plan. Through prayer, compassion, and truth, our advocates have offered hope and life-giving alternatives to thousands of men and women over the years. In March 2023, we embraced a new chapter and reintroduced ourselves as Moore Options - a name that reflects both our location and our mission to offer “more options” to individuals and families in need. This new identity is inclusive of men and families while still rooted in the heart of our ministry: providing compassionate, Christ-centered care for those facing pregnancy decisions and life challenges.

Today, in 2025, Moore Options stands as a growing medical clinic and family resource center serving more than 900 men and women each year. Our free services include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, prenatal and parenting education, mental health counseling, after-abortion care and healing and access to local social services. Through our Earn While You Learn program, clients earn free diapers and wipes while gaining valuable parenting and life skills.

In the fall of 2023, we became a licensed medical clinic, allowing us to provide pregnancy confirmation, gestational age, and viability ultrasounds - helping expectant parents see the miracle of life within the womb and make informed, confident decisions.

As our ministry has grown, God has continued to open new doors. We have a long-term goal of building a maternity home for women in need - a safe and nurturing environment offering housing, life skills training, childcare, and pathways to employment. This vision was born out of the reality that while Dumas has a domestic violence shelter, there are no resources for mothers who are simply struggling and need a place to rebuild their lives. With community support, we believe this dream will become a reality.

We also opened a thrift store - Moore Life, creating sustainable funding for our ministry while serving local families through affordable shopping and community connection.

Moore Options is part of a national network of more than 2,700 pregnancy help centers dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care at no cost. We are honored to be affiliated with CareNet, Heartbeat International, NIFLA (National Institute of Family Life Advocates), andLife Matters Worldwide, who help equip and strengthen our ministry through training, resources, and prayer.
For 27 years, we have witnessed miracles: babies once threatened by abortion now thriving in loving homes, parents finding healing and restoration, and families strengthened through faith and education.

Who We Are

We are a non-profit pro-life ministry offering several services for mother's with children under the age of 3 and expectant mothers. Some of the services we offer are pregnancy tests, trained peer counseling, material assistance, and parenting classes. All of these services are provided to our clients free of charge! We can also help with filling out paperwork for CHIP, medicaid, WIC, and several others. Our mission is to offer hope to women facing unplanned pregnancies by providing practical help and emotional support in truth and love, teaching the sanctity of life, while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. When becoming a client we also offer a service that we call "earn while you learn", which allows them to earn points when taking our parenting classes. With these points they are allowed to purchase several varying items to help with their pregnancy, and their babies. We just want to be able help wherever we may be able to.
