Mosaic exists to build a healthier community by uniting mind, body, and spirit through counseling, connection, and community, honoring individual beliefs and practices.

Mosaic Counseling Centers of East Texas, Inc., began offering counseling services in 2012 to make high-quality mental health care accessible and affordable for anyone in the 35-county East Texas region who needed it. Since its founding, Mosaic has received generous support from the community, including local congregations, the medical community, other nonprofits, foundations, and individuals. In its first year in 2012, Mosaic provided 1,500 counseling hours. By 2022, when it celebrated its 10th anniversary, it had significantly expanded its services, providing over 10,000 hours of counseling, both in person and through online and video-based care. Throughout its history, Mosaic has collaborated with local organizations such as CHRISTUS Health System, Bethesda Health Clinic, and Northeast Texas Public Health District's WIC program to enhance and positively impact mental health care in East Texas. Mosaic remains actively engaged in community activities that reduce stigma, raise awareness about available services, enhance service efficiency, and participate in larger projects.
