Mustard Seed Pantry

Mustard Seed Pantry is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has existed since 2015 to tangibly show Christ's love to the greater San Angelo community by giving food, time, encouragement, and prayer to all in need.

As of February 2025, Mustard Seed Pantry has helped over 30,000 individuals. The recent economic situation has created such a need in our community that we serve nearly 120 families/week (up from 70 families/week this time last year). Although we are a drive-through pantry, we also serve people on foot and bicycle. Located at 4825 Grape Creek Rd and serving every Wednesday afternoon (no matter the weather!), we distribute boxes of fresh produce, meat, baked items shelf-stable foods, and other essentials. We have been blessed with gracious donors and support agencies, like you, who have been instrumental in our efforts to continue to provide help where we can, not just with food, but also with smiles, prayers, and emotional support. Each person we encounter is created in the image of Christ and we endeavor to know our patrons by name and take the time to listen to them while serving them as efficiently as possible. Our all-volunteer organization is small, but growing. At this time last year, we had 6 regular volunteers. Now we have up to 20 people who give their time weekly. We are, with God's provision, "The Little Pantry that Could" (Matthew 17:20),

I first started helping at Mustard Seed Food Pantry a little over a year ago. At that time, we were in a much smaller space and we're serving about half the families we serve now. It has been such a blessing to watch the pantry grow & be able to be a part of it.
As a child, I was on the receiving end of food pantries. I had no clue how they worked or who was responsible for making it happen, I just know I was thankful for the food we received! It fills my heart with such joy to help other folks make sure their tummies are full.
