Nashua Community Music School

Help us fill our $4,000 scholarship gap by donating to NH Gives! When we work together, we will be strong enough to carry all the heavy things we have to haul.

The Nashua Community Music School is a 40-year-old nonprofit dedicated to bringing quality music experiences to the community of Southern New Hampshire and beyond! We offer a broad range of private music lessons, group music classes, Music Therapy services, musical summer camps, and performance opportunities for students of all ages! A wonderful example of this includes a performance from our group class, "Broadway Star Search!" Check out their performance of "When I Grow Up" from one of our free student recitals. 

Donations made during NH Gives go directly to our Community Fund. Our Community Fund was created in response to the rising demand of deserving students and local nonprofits seeking a high-quality music experience that are unable to participate due to a significant financial barrier. Your choice to donate to the Nashua Community Music School Community Fund supports Scholarships for students with financial need and Music Outreach Programs with partner nonprofits. This past year alone, with your support, we were able to provide free music services to over 300 people a week!

Who We Are

The mission of the Nashua Community Music School is to provide Southern New Hampshire and beyond with a broad spectrum of learning, performing and listening opportunities in music and to provide vocal and instrumental lessons with the finest teachers available. NCMS offers a growing list of music education opportunities to students of all ages and ability levels throughout the year. Programs include: private and semi-private music instruction, group classes, music ensembles, Music Therapy, and a variety of music summer programs. NCMS also provides the community with Music Outreach Programming, which consists of a variety of traveling music workshops, professional concerts, multicultural enrichment programs and on-site music instruction options used to enhance the artistic culture of local schools, organizations, and the general public. In order to make sure that students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds could benefit from our high quality programming, The “Music For All!” Scholarship Campaign was created in 2014 to provide deserving low-income music students and their families with the necessary financial assistance required to take advantage of our high quality music education programs. On NH Gives Day, 50% of all donations will be given in support of our growing scholarship campaign. The rest will support the quality music programming that NCMS strives to make accessible to everyday.
