Mission

NatureBridge's mission is to connect young people to the wonder and science of the natural world, igniting self-discovery and inspiring stewardship of our planet. By increasing access to national parks, building character in youth and providing hands-on environmental science programs, we aim to equip a new generation of environmental stewards with the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to protect and advocate for the natural world.

NatureBridge Olympic National Park

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, NatureBridge will offer over $214,000 in scholarship support for schools to attend our Olympic National Park programs in the 2022/2023 school year. When you give to NatureBridge, you are ensuring our programs' relevance to diverse student populations as we engage new generations and create pathways to learning, growth and environmental stewardship.

Since 1971, NatureBridge has provided environmental science education programs to over 1 million K-12 students in the world's best classrooms, our national parks. NatureBridge's Olympic National Park campus was founded in 1987 and today provides transformative outdoor experiences to over 5,000 students and their teachers every year.

Our overnight environmental science programs in Olympic National Park offer students the opportunity to engage in inclusive, hands-on learning experiences in the foothills of the Pacific Northwest's majestic Olympic mountains. Students explore an old growth forest, the Elwha River and Lake Crescent, while challenging themselves physically, building meaningful relationships and discovering a caring relationship with the natural world.
