During Give Local 2026, the Naugatuck Historical Society is raising funds to support the ongoing work that makes everything we do possible. As a fully volunteer-run organization, this work is powered entirely by individuals who give their time because they believe these stories matter.
In recent years, we have expanded our exhibits, increased programming, and taken on new projects as part of the America 250 initiative. Behind the scenes, this means hours of research, writing, planning, organizing, and hands-on work each week. From caring for collections and designing exhibits to hosting events and maintaining the museum, every part of this effort is carried out by volunteers.
