Join us in our efforts to provide our children and families outdoor experiences for a lifetime.  The Naugatuck YMCA needs your help to acquire a property to give the youth freedom to experience life outside the routines and pressures of their everyday life. "Camp Naboca was a wonderfully, impactful experience for me. It was really the first time in my life I was given the opportunity to participate in a huge array of activities on my own without my parents looking over my shoulder. We had group and individual events, activities, and competitions that I would not have been exposed to if I had not attended.  I vividly remember the archery, swimming, crafts, head-stand - sit-up - push-up competitions, tug of war, sleepovers, relay races, swim races, 50+ years later." ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

2025 is looking brighter for the Naugatuck, Beacon Falls and Oxford Community. The Naugatuck YMCA’s collaborations with other nonprofits, school districts, community leaders and individuals brings assistance to families and individuals in need of resources. The Annual Campaign provides financial assistance to over 600 individuals each year. With this assistance children attend camp, childcare, and enrichment programs. Families create stronger bonds. Seniors and individuals lead a healthier life.  Join us and BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER!

Who We Are

The Y is a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. That’s because a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. The Y is community centered. For over 120 years, we’ve been listening and responding to the Beacon Falls and Naugatuck communities. The Y brings people together. We connect people of all ages and backgrounds to bridge the gaps in community needs. The Y nurtures potential. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. The Y has local presence and global reach. We are working to make lasting, meaningful change.
In 2018, we had 57,994 visits from individuals. Over 8,000 swim lessons were given to build strong confident children. 284 Basketball games were played strengthening leadership, teamwork and communication skills. We had over 20,000 visits from active older adults gathering for socialization and physical health. The Y continues to be the community center in Naugatuck. From preschool to senior citizens there is something for everyone at the Naugatuck YMCA .
