At NESA, we believe that the arts are a powerful way to develop youth’s critical thinking skills, imagination, and innovation. Our goal is to use the transformative power of art to nurture creative thinkers in a vibrant educational community. Our independent high school, summer camp, and afterschool programs provide immersive arts-based learning opportunities to Upper Valley youth of all ages and experience levels.
Founders Jennifer and Carl Chambers have been leaders in the Northern New England arts and education communities since 2008. When the pair searched for a nurturing college preparatory experience integrated with a diverse and meaningful arts focus, and found there was no such educational offering in the Upper Valley, they launched New England School of the Arts.
NESA offers immersive arts experiences for Upper Valley youth of all ages and levels to explore, create, and learn. We are committed to educating tomorrow’s global thinkers, creative problem solvers, and talented visual and performing artists.
