New Life Counseling Center

The mission of New Life Counseling Center is to make a positive difference in the lives of children, youth, and adults in the South Lafourche community by providing faith based counseling and resources for substance abuse, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, marital and parenting problems, stress, and spiritual issues.

Your generous gift makes it possible for us to connect hurting people with professional counselors. Specifically your GiveNOLA Day donation allows us to start our income based sliding fee scale at just ten dollars ($10) a session. Far too many people fall into deep despair because they do not have the resources to get mental health care.

The South Lafourche community is aware that New Life Counseling Center is available to everyone regardless of household income. New Life Counseling Center is uniquely capable of providing spiritual guidance for Christian clients. While everyone's beliefs are enthusiastically respected, and spiritual matters are initiated by the client, it is very common for people to agonize over why God would allow their pain. We have an ordained minister on staff and all of our counselors have earned their degrees from highly respected seminaries.
