Help Our Meals On Wheels
Program end the senior hunger crisis in Connecticut. Due to a
critical funding shortage, our Meals on Wheels program has been forced to cut
services and starting a waiting list for homebound seniors in February 2026
and as of April 2026 over 50 seniors are already on the list waiting to receive food they
need.

For many, our drivers provide their
only daily meal and social contact. Your donation ensures they don't have to
worry about where their next meal is coming from.

Who We Are

Meals on Wheels: "A Necessary Service" Delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors and providing a daily safety check on their well-being. Meals on Wheels services help seniors maintain their independence in their own home. Many Meals on Wheels recipients live alone and the meal deliverer is often their only social interaction for days or weeks at a time. For this reason those meal recipients who have pets hold them dear to their heart for both physical, mental and social stimulation. Meals on Wheels offers a pet food program called Animeals, for meal recipients who struggle with their own meal needs and often find it challenging to feed and keep their faithful companions. Our Animeal program delivers a monthly supply of pet food and cat litter to over 150 animals so that their homebound owners are able keep their animals.
