My wife, who has dementia, understandably felt confused and
disorientated at first, but was embraced with kindness and professionalism of
the staff. She ultimately felt loved and I felt confident that she would
be well taken care of during the time that she was there. It is difficult to
put into words what a godsend the Center is for a full-time family caregiver
like myself. It is hard to know how stressful is until you get some relief. I
will always be grateful for the hours of respite that New York Memory Center
has provided me.
