Newberry County Hospital Foundation

The Newberry County Hospital Foundation's mission is to promote the hospital's mission through community education, advocacy and fundraising that supports Newberry Count Memorial Hospital and its services to the community.

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is a 90 bed community hospital that cares for Newberry County residents and residents from some of the surrounding counties such as Richland, Lexington, Laurens and Saluda Counties. The Newberry County Hospital Foundation supports the Hospital by funding programs and equipment that allows the Hospital to fulfill their mission of providing exceptional healthcare with a personal touch. The Foundation provides the funding for the special needs of the Hospital through fundraisers, grants and individual donations. In the past, the Foundation has purchased items such as equipment for our Pediatric Rehab Department to assist our special needs pediatric population and chairs for our Oncology/Infusion patients. We recently started and are funding a program to assist patients who use our Emergency Department and are in need of clothing due to circumstances that brought them into our Emergency Department, i.e. accident. The Foundation assists the Case Management Department with needs that our indigent patients may have while using our services. All funds raised by the Foundation are used to provide for the patient Newberry County Memorial Hospital serves.
