New Journey San Angelo

The mission of New Journey is to support foster care with a focus on youth aging out of care. We are working towards providing transitional living and supporting these youth in their education and occupational goals. We're excited to announce the development of The Colony! This will be a tiny home community dedicated to youth aging out of care. Help us get started and feel free to contact us for more information.

The primary purpose of New Journey shall be to:

Provide on-going, meaningful support for former foster youth.

Provide and/or assist in finding adequate housing for former foster youth.

Encourage and promote organized communications between former foster youth and the governmental and community entities that serve them.

Promote community awareness and education about foster care, foster youth and adoption.

Improve the abilities of former foster youth to integrate into society by providing educational and/or recreational activities.

Work in cooperation with and assist child welfare agency staff as they prepare foster youth to transition out of the system.

Solicit, acquire, and disburse funds and/or gifts to accomplish the purposes as set forth above.
