New Hampshire Children's Trust's mission is leading the drive to strengthen families and communities, through education, advocacy, and collaboration, that prevents child abuse and neglect.   We envision a New Hampshire where all children thrive in safe, nurturing, and supportive environments.

Every touchpoint in a family’s journey—from child care to education and beyond—is an opportunity to put prevention into action. PREVENTION IS POSSIBLE and takes each and every one of us, working together, to make sure Granite State families are supported and strong.

Your support will power NHCT's ability to:

• Provide concrete supports that stabilize families. Through partnerships with organizations such as Baby2Baby and the National Diaper Bank Network, NHCT brings essential items—including diapers, wipes, diaper ointment, shampoo, conditioner, and toothbrushes—into New Hampshire and distributes them through community-based child and family serving organizations. In 2025 alone, NHCT distributed more than 191,000 diapers, helping to reduce financial strain and prevent crises before they escalate.
• Strengthen the family-serving workforce. NHCT provides training, technical assistance, and professional development to the professionals who work directly with families across the Granite State. In 2025, we supported more than 850 child and family support professionals, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to better serve thousands of New Hampshire families.

• Increase awareness of and access to family supports. Through coordinated outreach—including social media campaigns, media placements, mailings, community presentations, and event participation—NHCT ensures families and professionals know where to turn for help. In 2025, our team engaged more than 3,500 community members statewide through prevention-focused presentations and outreach.

• Lead and coordinate statewide prevention efforts. By working closely with state agencies, community-based organizations, and cross-sector partners, NHCT helps align resources, strengthen systems, and remove barriers that impede family well-being. Our collaborative leadership ensures prevention strategies are coordinated, responsive, and grounded in community need.
