Nickers N' Neighs Therapeutic Riding Center (Stoneybrook Foundation)

The mission of Nickers 'N Neighs Therapeutic Riding Center is to improve the lives of children and adults with special challenges through a therapeutic partnership with horses.

Nickers 'N Neighs Therapeutic Riding Center works with children and adults with special challenges, veterans with disabilities, youth at risk, and survivors of abuse. Therapeutic riding lessons use the horse and horse related skills to improve the lives of individuals of these populations. Students' progression is tracked through goal setting, lesson plans, and measurable outcomes. Students show progression in physical, cognitive, and behavioral functioning. These improvements often carry over into their everyday lives.
