Keep the Lights On at the Heart of St. Claude

At the corner of St. Claude and St. Roch, the New Orleans Healing Center serves as a vital ecosystem for our neighborhood's well-being. But to keep our community programs running, we first have to keep the building’s engine humming.

This GiveNOLA Day, we are being direct: we need to raise $10,000 to cover our core operational costs. While we house over 25 incredible small businesses and nonprofits, their rent alone doesn't cover the rising costs of maintaining this historic 55,000-square-foot sanctuary. By helping us "keep the lights on," you aren't just paying a utility bill—you are providing the literal power and security that allows our community programs to thrive.

Your donation provides the foundation for:

• Food Security: Keeping our Community Fridge, Little Free Pantry, and Little Free Pet Pantry stocked and accessible.

• Environmental Action: Your support helps us keep our community recycling service free for all and provides the foundation we need to expand into even more materials, making our community even greener.

• Cultural Celebrations: Funding the infrastructure for our annual Fèt Gede (Haitian Day of the Dead) and the New Orleans Sacred Music Festival, where diverse traditions find common ground.
