NOLA Nature School is dedicated to the philosophy that children are competent, curious, and capable. Through a curriculum inspired by the tenets of the Reggio Emilia approach, educators and master naturalists work in tandem to provide students the opportunity to deeply connect with the city of New Orleans and its abundance of natural spaces. By utilizing these tangible resources, students form a deeper understanding of the relationships that exist between themselves, our communities, and the world we inhabit. Providing the space for students to explore their own bountiful interests and interact with one another in a meaningful way, NOLA Nature School nurtures each child's connection to both their inner and outer worlds to encourage a thoughtful approach to their interactions with their peers and themselves.
