Who We Are

The North Museum's Mission is to enable knowledge of nature and science by inspiring individuals, engaging communities, and connecting organizations.

Located in Lancaster County, the North Museum serves all of Central Pennsylvania, and beyond. The Museum collections include more than 400,000 objects in disciplines ranging from archaeology to zoology. feature a variety of hands-on, interactive exhibits, a Live Animal Room, a STEAM Art Gallery and Central Pennsylvania’s largest planetarium. The Museum is a leader in STEM education, developing and presenting programming for all ages, including STEM Career Exploration Fairs, the Science & Engineering Fair, STEM Sisters, North Museum @ Home Virtual STEM Education learning materials, Summer Camps, Outreach programs and more.
