Northeast PA Area Health Education Center

Northeast PA Area Health Education Center (NE PA AHEC) is not only our regional AHEC but also part of the state and nationwide AHEC system since 1972.  We partner with healthcare organizations, academic institutions and community organizations for all our programming and to educate middle school through college students on health careers and opportunities in rural and medically underserved areas of NEPA.  We provide specialized programing and experiences for students interested in health career programs.  We partner with healthcare and community organizations to educate and connect our students to services and resources in our area. 

Our goal is to educate all ages of students, support them through their educational journey, and connect them to career opportunities right here in NEPA.
