Serving the Northshore community by providing access to basic needs.

Thousands of individuals and families in our community struggle with food insecurity, with 14.1% of the people who live in St. Tammany Parish lacking reliable access to nutritious meals. Northshore Food Bank works every day to change that by providing essential food assistance to those in need.

In 2025 alone, Northshore Food Bank distributed over 1 million pounds of food, ensuring that seniors, children, and families facing hardship have access to pantry staple food items. With food distribution sites in Covington and Slidell, Northshore Food Bank is committed to ensuring no one in our community goes without a meal.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners. Together, we can fight hunger and bring hope to food insecure families in St. Tammany Parish.
