The New Orleans Foundation for Francophone Cultures

A nonprofit organization

The New Orleans Foundation for Francophone Cultures promotes and supports Louisiana's heritage cultures, with a focus on Cajun, Creole, and Indigenous communities. We operate "Nous", our independent recording label, film studio, and publishing house. We also present our original - and curated in-house - exhibitions at our cultural center in the heart of the French Quarter (with our new location opening May 7!) and offer multiple grants and scholarships, including a program with Fulbright France.

This year, we want to celebrate our new collaboration with the Historic New Orleans Collection, as we open our new cultural space at 602 Toulouse St in the heart of the French Quarter (coming May 7, 2025!).

For its first activation, this space will be entirely dedicated to music, and we cannot wait to present our original and interactive exhibition Musique(s)!, celebrating Louisiana's musical heritage in French and Creole. This exhibition, to be presented from May 7 to June 30, 2025, will be complemented by the release of our original book and vinyl - all made possible through the support of the Library of Congress.

As you support us for GiveNOLA Day, your support will help us operate this new space, which will include a gallery space with pop-up exhibitions, a concept store with a curated selection of books and magazines in French, and an information center with free brochures on Louisiana's French and Creole cultures. All in one space.

We love New Orleans. Invest in our culture. Invest in our future.
