North Platte Catholic Schools

The North Platte Catholic Schools have served students and the community of North Platte since 1891. What began as the “Nativity Convent School,” has now grown to a Preschool through 12th grade school system known for a rigorous academic curriculum and a faith-centered atmosphere that challenges all students to know, love, and serve Jesus. The North Platte Catholic Schools Endowment-Trust Inc. provides roughly one-third of the operating budget for Little Leprechaun Preschool, McDaid Elementary, and St. Patrick’s High School. The Endowment’s “Annual Fund” provides funds for teacher salaries, facility operations, and tuition assistance for students. Donor support of the Annual Fund is truly the lifeblood of the North Platte Catholic Schools. Who We Are

The mission of the North Platte Catholic Schools is to assist parents and the Catholic Church in the Catholic/Christian formation of their children, while providing a high quality academic education which challenges all students to reach their full potential. The North Platte Catholic Schools serve students Preschool through 12th grade in the North Platte area. Established in 1891, NPCS prides itself on providing a top-notch education infused with the Catholic faith, and a commitment to serving others in the community. Little Leprechaun Preschool, McDaid Elementary, and St. Patrick's High School serve 350-400 students annually.
