For nearly 60 years, Northwest Outward Bound School has provided experiential outdoor education for tens of thousands of middle and high school students in the Pacific NW. Our programs provide a unique and supportive environment for young people to develop their leadership skills and connect to themselves, others, and the natural world. Northwest Outward Bound School is a nonprofit educational organization providing social-emotional development through adventure and discovery. Our educational approach encourages students to build confidence, compassion, and meaningful connections through team-building and character-development activities. We aim to inspire bold futures by offering opportunities for today's students to pursue a life of purpose, impact, and compassion.

Our mission is to change lives and communities through challenge and discovery. Our vision is a more just and connected society that we shape by using outdoor education to cultivate personal resilience and community engagement. Our ambition is to build a school that is deeply connected with the communities we serve, provides culturally relevant programming, and takes bold and authentic actions on equity, inclusion, and diversity--all in support of creating exceptional outcomes for every student. With your help, we can ensure that this life-changing experience is open to all regardless of means.

Your support will raise funds to support our students and programming in Washington state. Learn more about our programming at nwobs.org/programs.
