Off The Wall Productions

We aim to create a more conscious and compassionate community, while providing a living wage for all artists, and to encourage and support the admiration of all arts and artists by providing a home in which live theater, dance, music, and comedy can be presented, while nurturing, challenging, inspiring and empowering women theater artists from our area and beyond to collaborate as playwrights, directors, technicians, and actors, explore new ideas, and develop new works.

Last season we mounted the world premiere of TUNNEL VISION by Andrea Lepcio, directed by Melissa Maxwell, and with Ms. Lepcio being present for the four-week rehearsal process. We also presented the premiere of a new movement theater work, KIMONO, by ctor/choreographer Mark C. Thompson.
Throughout the season (as our show in repertory) we produced MOTHER LODE a one-woman show written in collaboration by Linda Haston and Virginia Wall Gruenert.
This season all four of our productions will be Pittsburgh Premieres, three of which are written by women and will be directed by female directors. these plays include AN ACCIDENT by Lydia Stryk, LUNGS by Duncan MacMilian, THE PINK UNICORN by Elise Forier Edie, and 4:48 PSYCHOSIS by Sarah Kane.
