One Heart recruits families to care for children in foster care and walks with families through the entire process of learning about foster care. One Heart provides a faith-based state-required training in the St. Louis metropolitan areas as well as continuing education classes. Additionally, because One Heart believes in supporting the whole family along the foster care journey, One Heart actively provides post-placement support through a variety of resources and programs. Not all families are called to open their home to a child in need, but each of us can help in supporting the ones who do. Help us recruit, educate and support the Christian community about the needs in foster care. As of April 2024, 354 children have found a permanent loving home thru adoption in a One Heart family.
