The mission of One Krewe is to create accessible, safe, and inclusive parading and event experiences for people living with disabilities. Our vision is to foster a world where parades and events are universally designed, celebrating diversity, and ensuring that individuals of all abilities experience joy, connection with community, and belonging without barriers.

Make New Orleans Parades Accessible for Everyone
Parades are the heart of New Orleans culture, yet for over one million residents and visitors with disabilities, the reality of being able to experience this unique community experience is stark. With unsafe and inaccessible parade viewing areas, blocked curb ramps are blocked, slippery beads creating hazardous conditions, no adequate or safe accessible viewing areas, or access to critical services like ASL interpretation or audio descriptions it's impossible for people in the disability community to experience the parade joy and the community that goes along with it.

New Orleans prides itself on hospitality and community, yet over one-third of Louisiana's population, adults and children with disabilities, are excluded from one of the city's most celebrated traditions. This isn't just about inclusion, it's about safety, community, and belonging. People with disabilities deserve to experience the magic of parades without barriers.
