Every day in Culpeper County, there are men and women who answer the call, without hesitation.

They run toward burning buildings, respond to life-threatening emergencies, protect our streets, and stand on the front lines when others cannot. They are there for us on our worst days.

Since 2004, Operation First Response has had the profound honor of serving 45,611 Heroes and their families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. In those moments, when injury, illness, or unexpected hardship strikes, we step in with immediate support, compassion, and action.

Because to us, they are not numbers. They are family.

Today, we are bringing that mission home through our Shield of Support – Culpeper First Responder Fund.

This initiative is dedicated to supporting the very people who protect this community every single day, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, 911 dispatchers, corrections officers, search and rescue personnel, and other emergency response professionals.

Behind every uniform is a person. A family. A life that can be turned upside down in an instant.

We provide immediate, direct financial assistance to help cover critical needs like housing, utilities, and emergency expenses, ensuring that no First Responder in Culpeper has to face hardship alone.

Because when a First Responder is struggling, it doesn’t just affect them, it impacts their family, their fellow responders, and the entire community they serve.
