Our Mother of Peace Elementary strives to achieve academic excellence taught through the words and actions of Christ. It is our vision to provide our students with the tools necessary to be all that God intended. We believe in educating the whole child - spiritually, academically, and physically, but we never lose sight of the fact that our primary responsibility is to grow our students in our Catholic faith and prepare them to build to be witnesses of our faith.
Because funds through federal and state providers are limited and designated for specific needs, OMP is asking for your kindness in donating to the building and capital improvement fund.
Our plan with the funds raised is to build an overhang in front of the gym for parent pick-up and drop-off. On rainy days students, faculty, and parents are forced into the wind and rain due to no protection in this area. We desire to raise enough funds to cover the cost of adding an overhand for protection in inclement weather. This will provide much-needed shelter for pick up and drop off, for events held in our gym, and for athletic events when the weather is uncooperative.
