Your Gift Opens Doors

When Jason Frazier completed the Ways to Work program, he gained more than financial literacy — he gained a key. Through Ways to Work's low-interest vehicle loan program, Jason was able to purchase a car, which he has already paid off. That car means everything: the freedom to work, to plan, and most importantly, to show up for his kids regularly.

Jason's story is one of many. Your gift to Outreach helps provide the educational programs and practical tools that open doors for individuals and families across Northeastern Pennsylvania — creating a stronger, more connected community for all of us.

It's a great day to make an IMPACT!

Your gift will open doors to economic self-sufficiency through education. During NEPA Gives, your support will be amplified through special matching opportunities throughout the day.

Together, we can help more people like Johnnysha transform their lives through the power of education.

With gratitude,

Lori Chaffers

President & CEO

Since 1988, Outreach (formerly EOTC) has made helping families thrive our highest priority by promoting a mission of family stability and economic self-sufficiency. Outreach serves a broad population, many from disparate and often-times difficult circumstances, who all share one trait in common: Hope for brighter tomorrows. Outreach's strength is the ability to form trusting relationships with vulnerable individuals and families, provide holistic programming, and help participants navigate and connect to additional services. It is through offering resources for life skills, literacy, employment training, parenting, early childhood education, youth mentoring, behavioral health supports, wrap-around case management, and more. Outreach builds strong families and strong communities.

OUR MISSION

Who We Are

With respect for the individual and with the highest professional standards, Outreach - Center for Community Resources offers multiple programs that promote family stability and economic self-sufficiency.

Since 1988, Outreach (formerly EOTC) has made helping families thrive our highest priority. By offering resources for life skills, literacy, employment training, parenting, early childhood education, youth mentoring, behavioral health, wrap-around case management and more, Outreach builds strong families. And strong families build strong communities.

Outreach is the area’s local, state-designated Family Center and each year more than 5,000 individuals, children, and families move toward stability and economic self-sufficiency by participating in our programs. Our participants have unique needs and work hard to break the cycles of poverty, under-education, unemployment, and incarceration.

Outreach improves the lives of children and families in our community with award-winning staff and programs that support individuals as they navigate through life’s challenges. Giving respect. Cultivating trust. Believing in growth.

It’s supporters like you who strengthen the future health and well-being of our community because TOGETHER we believe strong families make strong communities. All donations received have a direct and positive impact on our program participants and in our community.
