About the TASC Program:

At PA Inclusive, we support inclusive and sustainable lives for people with disabilities. Through our Transition Academy Social Club (TASC), we empower high school students, ages 14-21, with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism and Down syndrome, to develop self-advocacy, independent living, and job readiness skills. Students meet weekly to connect with peers, learn about social supports, explore careers, hear from guest speakers, and enjoy local field trips. We are proud to partner with our local community to ensure more students have access to this opportunity to build their skills as they transition beyond high school and prepare to enter the workforce. Together, we are building a more inclusive and empowering future!

Who We Are at PA Inclusive:

PA Inclusive was founded with one overarching goal: to help people with disabilities live inclusive lives. The agency works tirelessly to help people achieve their goals of working and living inclusively in the community. Founded in 2013, PA Inclusive provides support services for those with an ID Waiver with In-Home and Community Habilitation, Companion Services, and Supported Living Services to help our clients live their lives the way they want.

Our interest lies in helping support people with disabilities to live where and with who they want and with the support they need to remain inclusive in our community. We also understand Inclusive Living requires long-range planning for a successful transition from living with your family to a Supported Living arrangement takes time, and we are here to help. We currently support 14 counties: Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Northumberland, Pike, Schuylkill, and Wyoming Counties.

We value self-determination, personal choice, empowerment, inclusion, respect, independence and civil rights. It is our person-centered service model that drives our passion for those we support so they can live the life they want. Our interest lies in helping support the person live the most inclusive life possible. As a pre-employment transitional services (PETS) vendor with OVR (Office of Vocational Rehabilitation), we provide a full array of OVR services to local high school students achieve employment.

In 2020, we launched a SMART Tech Resource Center initiative to help educate people with disabilities and their families learn how SMART Technology can help them live more independently. This initiative includes a SMART Tech Resource Center 'Beta Hub,' where people can see a live SMART Tech room in action, a series of regional seminars that will provide access to learning about SMART Technology in 5 regional locations in collaboration with the AllOne Foundation ACCE Autism Centers, and will provide up to 32 people with SMART Tech equipment installations in their own homes for their own use.

As a human service provider for people with disabilities, NEPA Inclusive responded to the COVID-19 stay-at-home order by launching an initiative to provide well being visits and essential product delivery to those with disabilities in an effort to ensure as many people with disabilities had access to well being checks and essential food and hygiene products as was possible.
