Panhandle Community Services

 Panhandle Community Services is a Community Action Agency that facilitates federal dollars locally to offer specialized programs and support at home. We coordinate efforts to address the root causes of poverty and move families and individuals to where they no longer need assistance.

Community Action Programs formed from a radical idea that people from low-economic situations could determine what would help them most.

This work is challenging, with ever-evolving demands. Poverty is recognized as a systemic issue, and Community Action takes a systems-based approach to address it.
