Parkinson Partners of Northwestern PA is the only nonprofit in the region dedicated to providing education, support, programs and services to those with Parkinson's disease and their families. Unfortunately, PD cases are on the rise with someone being diagnosed every 6 minutes in the US. People with PD and their loved ones need our support. All of our programing and services come from suggestions from those with PD and their medical teams. We still provide a monthly newsletter both in paper and digital formats, because that is what our community wants. We tend to serve an older population so while we offer a website, email communication, social media, virtual support groups etc., many in our region continue to want to be able to call and talk to someone who can provide a listening ear and point them in the right direction. We strive to meet people where they are and to remind them that they are not alone. We offer specialized wellness programs, educational events, a respite care program, transportation grant and more. We rely on grants and generous donors to help fund our efforts as we have no national affiliation so all funds raised here, stay here. We would appreciate your support during Erie Gives 2025!
