Paxville Community Development Center Corporation

The Paxville Community Development Corporation mission is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals within our community through fostering greater social, economic, and educational opportunities.

The PCDC predominately serves populations from the communities of Paxville, Manning, and Summerton in Clarendon County along with Pinewood and Lower Sumter County. PCDC's central services focus on Adult Workforce Development, Community Food Pantry Outreach, After-School Read for Success Initiative and Youth Development Summer Learning & Meals Program.

Adult Workforce Readiness Program: PCDC provides services for Seniors and Young Adult participants in two (2) Computer skills training courses. The agency offers Employment Referral assistance for job search assistance. Virtual information and resources are made available for clients to link with SC Works and SC Dew Services. Our GED program is sponsored by Central Carolina Technical College.

Seniors on the Move - Technology Skills Training & Elder Life Skills Development: The agency provides services for Seniors within person/virtual workshops including "Community Health and Wellness", "Mental Health Care for Seniors", "Caregiver Resources, Assistance for Clarendon County Residents."
