Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen

Since 1944 the PA Guild of Craftsmen has been supporting practicing artists and enabling them to grow in their craft.  We connect to our community through affordable programming - teaching those who enjoy the act of "making."   Our goal is to create opportunities for traditional and contemporary artists and all those who love making or collecting fine craft.  We do this through outreach programs to senior living facilities, schools, onsite educational opportunities, and community outreach - often with other non-profits who share our goals.   Help us to make these programs MOST affordable so that everyone who has the desire to create can also have the means. 

Who We Are

Since 1944 the PA Guild of Craftsmen (PGC) has been supporting practicing artists and enabling them to grow in their craft. Our mission is to create opportunities for traditional and contemporary artisans, craft enthusiasts, and collectors through education, advocacy, and community. Located on Queen Street in downtown Lancaster, PGC connects to our community through affordable programming - teaching those who enjoy the act of "making" - and by providing a Guild Store for our craftsmen to connect with community members who wish to purchase hand-made craft from local artisans. We do this through outreach programs to senior living facilities, schools, onsite educational opportunities, and community outreach. Help us to make these programs MOST affordable so that everyone who has the desire to create can also have the means.
