To actively promote physical well being, encourage teamwork, stress the value of education and provide essential life skills to young people in our community through youth hockey and other activities

50/50 RAFFLE & GRANT PROGRAM: $1.1 million+ awarded to 100+ 501(c)3 organizations during the 2015.16 Penguins season.

TABLETS IN EDUCATION: 3,900 Kindles have been provided to 60+ schools and special needs programs in Allegheny and surrounding counties.

PROJECT POWER PLAY: $2.3 million project in partnership with Highmark, which constructed 12 dek hockey rinks.

PENSFIT: 150,000+ elementary students have received free floor hockey equipment.

HEADSUP: 50,000+ parents, coaches, referees and teachers have been educated about concussions and prevention.

LITTLE PENGUINS LEARN TO PLAY: 1,000+ sets of head-to-toe equipment provided annually to youth.

OTHER: These additional initiatives share our focus that "Kids Are The Future" in the Pittsburgh region - - STEAM Lending Library, Free Game for Kids, Kids Open Practice, Crosby & Malkin Charity Suites, Penguins Foundation Scholarship Program, Very Special Arts Exhibit, TeachMate/Oneder Partnership, Mighty Penguins (sled hockey), Steel City Icebergs, Pittsburgh I.C.E., YMCA Jr. Penguins, Hockey Moms Night, Project Bundle-Up, Children's Hospital Holiday Visit, Toys for Tots/Stuff-A-Bus... and many more!
